Dermot Martin trading as Mortgage And Investment Brokers was established in 2001 and is regulated by The Central Bank of Ireland. We provide financial and investment advice to businesses, individuals, families, solicitors, accountants and other professionals.
Dermot had been providing financial guidance to businesses and individuals in the Irish market for over 30 years. Dermot worked as a financial advisor and branch manager with a number of companies helping clients to organize their retirement and financial needs.
Dermot is a Fellow of the L.I.A. and a qualified financial advisor (Qfa) at U.C.D.1998
Colin MacIonraic is Q.f.a. a financial advisor who has over 2 decades of experience. With his expert knowledge, he can advise clients on financial planning along with providing advice on our range of financial services.

What is Best Advice
A broker must provide a client with the best advice not just good advice. The broker acts in the client’s best interest first and foremost. This is a Central Bank of Ireland requirement.
A bank or someone representing a single insurance company does not have this obligation. They are required to give good advice but not the best advice. They are not obliged to inform the client of better or cheaper products. Most banks are tied agents of one only life company.
